Student seeking rotation: Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Eric Berard. Currently I am a 3rd year student at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. My school administration has allowed me to pursue and fulfill my core rotations in San Diego due to my 'hardship' status. However, I am having a considerable amount of difficulty doing so. My immediate priority is securing two family practice rotations for the months of August and September (there is considerable flexibility with these dates). Further, it is my hope that after these initial two rotations are completed I may continue to rotate with other doctorrs from the SDOMA in order to fulfill my other core rotations. I am grateful for the invitation to join your monthly meetings and once I return to San Diego (on the 1st of July) I intend to do just that. I can be contacted by email, at: eric_n_berard@yahoo.com. Future meeting topics: Currently in the planning stages are topics which will include lectures on lipids, urinary incontinence, and inhaled insulin.

DO speakers STILL needed for our monthly meetings As you may be aware, we MUST have 6 Osteopathic physicians as speakers, per year, to meet our requirements to make our CME hours eligible for category 1 credits. These are YOUR CME hours. If you have a topic of interest that you can present at one of our monthly meeting please contact Jim Cox at, 619-579-2946.

Why RSVP? Many of you seem to be unaware of the requirements of our hotel regarding our dinner reservations. A firm number of attendees need to be given to the hotel by noon on the Monday before the meeting. Seating and dinners prepared are base on that number. It will cause our sponsors to be less willing to support our monthly meetings if there are many open seats at our meetings. Our sponsors pay for the number of dinners reserved on Monday! Please RSVP by the date requested.
