Future SDOMA Meetings: Our meeting schedule for the remainder of 2008 currently looks like the following. Tuesday, November 11 - bring your 401k (if you still have one). The financial advisor that spoke at our August meeting is back for another round, with a special guest. Clinical speaker TBA. Tuesday, December 9 - A sponsored/granted meeting is currently under discussion. Still a great speaker and a better early holiday dinner. Both meetings should be held in the Orcutt Administration Building, on the Kaiser-Zion campus.

Nominations for 2009 SDOMA board members needed ASAP: It's that time of year again. Nominations need to be received ASAP, so that we can meet the obligations of our by-laws and our new officers can begin their terms of office at the January 2009 meeting. According to our by-laws the following offices are up for election; Secretary (one-year term), Treasurer (one-year term) and Vice-President (one year as Vice-President, one year as President, and one year as immediate past president for a total of three years). To volunteer or place names in nomination contact Jim Cox at 619-579-2946. SDOMA NEEDS YOU! IF WE DO NOT MAINTAIN AN APPROPRIATE ROSTER OF ELECTED OFFICERS WE WILL BE IN DANGER OF SACRIFICING OUR CALIFORNIA CORPORATE STATUS.
